I have enjoyed working with Communica from day one and that is not something you can say about all website development relationships. Right from the start of our working relationship, Amber and Gareth have understood what getting it right first time means for a small business. I was able to talk directly with the developers and received great feedback on what was possible, what might be possible but not a good idea, and what just straight out wasn’t going to work. When starting this project fresh, Jimbo's website was a hot mess that needed rescuing. As one of New Zealand’s best-known pet food brands, Jimbos wanted a brand champion to showcase their products and better represent their valued resellers.
It was important to Communica that this website created cohesion amongst Jimbo's brand, and it quickly became the central touchpoint for all their online marketing - competitions, EDM campaigns, online surveys and social engagement. The website boasts strong use of Jimbos’ strong fonts and brand yellow colour, creating a bold website with great emphasis on their products.
A crucial aspect of the site was to have a Mailchimp subscription form that was also integrated with a third party Voucher API, that would automatically generate and email a barcode voucher to the subscriber. The website also collects Jimbos’ Mailchimp generated newsletters and integrates them into the website through the News Feed.
