PetLinx came to us looking for a complete redesign to give their website a responsive (mobile friendly) design and fresh, cutting edge look.
After reviewing the user journies and associated Google Analytics stats, Communica developed new wireframes to better reflect PetLinx's modular approach to software. Content structure proved a difficult task here, as PetLinx's product model was complex and integrated with different hardware dependent on the country. Nevertheless common ground was eventually found.
We were also able to suggest incorporating Communica’s custom Drupal currency conversion module, which enables overseas visitors to easily switch and view prices in the currency of their choice. As at least half of PetLinx's sales are from America and overseas, this was an excellent fit.
The resulting website is a mix of Drupal theming technologies which gives the client the ability to tailor individual page layouts as they wish without the need for developer input, with some clever functionality such as Isotope and Ajax loading to create an intuitive user-experience. The website also integrates with the client’s separate API system for downloads and purchases.
PetLinx is an international grooming, boarding and boarding (kennel and cattery) software designed for businesses and professionals.
